The sharp XEA147 is an upgraded version of the XEA107 with the main difference being a thermal printer replacing the old ink version and an SD card slot added to the device. This allowed data back up as well as easier programming via the PC tool.
The other main upgrade is the Electronic journal and receipt features. You can now turn off the receipt printing and only print when required as well as the register recording the transaction data in the electronic journal - which can be printed if required.
