Other key features
•Flat keyboard with 119 keys in total - 70 product buttons
•2 price levels per button - can be used for different measurements or different price list* see below
•5 department buttons as standard on the machine - which can be used to sell MISC items into a department
•3 payment buttons with an additional payment menu that allows an additional 5 more payment methods
•6 overlapping clerks
•4 Tax rates supported
•Sell products by weight - you can set up a product for example at 'Beef per kg' with a price of £8.00 (per kg) - then you can sell 1.5 of the item and it will calculate at £12
This machine has two prices per product and this can be used in two main ways.
Selling by different size/measurement - the easiest example is in a pub environment - product one might be Strongbow (pint) at £3.60 - however if you press L2 (level 2) and then the same physically button this can be programmed as Strongbow (half) £1.80. this way you can condense down the buttons required to fit additional items on the keyboard.
Different price list - whether that's a completely different menu (ie a breakfast and evening menu) you could program up two entirely different menus and then physically swap of the keyboard template depending on the menu you are serving. Or it could be the same products but perhaps a premium or even a 'happy hour' price.
How to set up price levels - L1 / L2 - these are keyboard levels - but what is happening you are telling the machine which range of PLU (product look ups) you are selling. So when its on level 1 - on the right its products 1-70. level 2 is 71-140. this then allowed you to add either then same name or different title for the price level 2. You then have an various options of how to use the price shift, either manually or you can lock it down (useful for when the prices are valid for a set time - ie happy hour)
