Biller FAQ
What is Buy Now, Pay Later?
Buy Now, Pay Later is a payment method that – as the name suggests – allows business buyers to buy today and pay at a different date in the future.
What is Biller?
Biller is a B2B Buy Now, Pay Later solution for e-commerce businesses. It’s designed to let buyers buy now and defer payment, while sellers get paid straight away. This helps both the buyer and the seller predict and manage their cash flows better.
Why am I paying Biller?
Because Biller is our BNPL-provider and acts as a middleman between us and you. Once we have shipped your order, Biller pays us, and then when your invoice is due, you pay Biller.
How do I pay Biller?
Biller will email the payment request to the buyer as soon as you have shipped your order. The payment request includes your invoice due date, payment reference and Biller’s bank account details.
What is a buyer?
Biller uses the term Buyer for any business that uses their payment method to purchase goods, services or assets from an online store.
Can I pay earlier than the due date?
Yes, it’s possible to pay earlier than the due date of the invoice, as long as you use the payment reference mentioned in the payment request.
Do I need to create a Biller account to buy with Biller?
No. You do not need to create an account with Biller to use their payment method.
Why is my order not approved?
Anytime you want to make a purchase, Biller performs a fraud- and credit check. There could be a number of reasons why your order wasn’t approved:
- The requested company information wasn’t submitted correctly and it meant that Biller couldn’t identify you as a buyer representative.
- Your credit limit would have been exceeded
- We highly recommend using your full name and business email address when placing an order and avoiding nicknames or abbreviations.
What is the maximum amount I can order using Biller?
While the average credit limit with Biller is £5000, the maximum order value you get in a single order depends on a number of factors:
- External credit reports
- Your buying history with Biller
- Your open invoices with Biller
- The order value in your cart
Can I place multiple orders with Biller?
Yes, as long as you haven’t reached your credit limit.
Can I still buy with Biller if I have missed an invoice due date?
No. If you have overdue invoices these need to be paid before you can buy more with Biller.
What happens if I don’t pay Biller on time?
If you don’t pay Biller on time, reminder fees will be added to your payment. And if you don’t pay Biller despite the reminders, your purchase will be handed over to debt collection.
