Price Levels
This machine has two prices per product and this can be used in two main ways.
Selling by different size/measurement - the easiest example is in a pub environment - product one might be Strongbow (pint) at £3.60 - however if you press L2 (level 2) and then the same physically button this can be programmed as Strongbow (half) £1.80. this way you can condense down the buttons required to fit additional items on the keyboard.
Different price list - whether that's a completely different menu (ie a breakfast and evening menu) you could program up to two entirely different menus and then physically swap the keyboard template depending on the menu you are serving. Or it could be the same products but perhaps a premium or even a 'happy hour' price.
How to set up price levels - L1 / L2 /L3 - these are keyboard levels - but what is happening you are telling the machine which range of PLU (product lookups) you are selling. So when it's on level 1 - on the right its products are 1-70. level 2 is 71-140. this then allowed you to add either the same name or a different title for the price level 2. You then have various options of how to use the price shift, either manually or you can lock it down (useful for when the prices are valid for a set time - ie happy hour)
